The RTX DUALphone 3055 Bundle gives you even more freedom by adding the convenience of an extra RTX DUALhandset to place in virtually any other room. No more running to find the phone!

The 2-in-1 Cordless RTX DUALphone 3055 was the first cordless Internet Telephone on the market, using Skype and it is still the #1 seller. It was developed with you in mind, using the latest technology, making it easy to install and cheap to use.

The Cordless RTX DUALphone 3055 is a cordless telephone that can be connected to a normal telephone line and the USB port on a PC. The display shows whether your friends who also use Skype�, are online. If they are, you simply have to press the appropriate green button and talk to them for free � no matter where they are in the world.

If their PC is switched off, or you want to call someone who doesn't use Skype, you simply press the other green button and call via the standard telephone connection.

What Is DECT?
With the advent of wireless consumer electronics operating throughout most modern households at 900 mHz, 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bandwidths, interference issues were inevitable for standard cordless telephones. From microwave ovens and baby monitors to WiFi systems and cellular telephony such as Bluetooth� enabled products, all of these technologies contribute to make regular cordless phones less effective performers around the house and office. DECT technology, however, operates in a dedicated 1.9 GHz bandwidth which permits delivery of calls without the static, pops, hiss and buzz which can severely hinder the performance of most other cordless home and small office telephones.
