Call Park, Page and Retrieve
The call park-retrieve feature allows users to park an active call, page to alert someone else to take the call and allows the call to be retrieved from any Quick Edition Telephone on the network. A one-X Quick Edition network can support up to 20 parked calls. Each parked call is given an ID and presented with the duration that the call has been on hold.
SIP Trunking for SES / CM Connectivity
SES-CM Connectivity provides the ability for an Avaya one-X Quick Edition equipped small branch office to connect to a headquarters site over the Wide Area Network. This provides as ideal branch solution for an enterprise served by a Communication Manager (CM) and Converged Communications Server running SIP Enablement Services (SES). Connectivity between SES/CM and one-X Quick Edition is based on standard SIP signaling without proprietary extensions. Many telephony features between a SES/CM enterprise and one-X Quick Edition system are supported. SES licenses are required to connect to the one-X Quick Edition system.
SIP Service Provider Connectivity
To support SIP interoperability, the Quick Edition IP telephones on may be connected to the service provider's network directly, or through a Network Address Translation (NAT) device such as a VoIP gateway or router. Avaya is actively testing and validating interoperability with many SIP service providers.

The Quick Edition solution provides service providers with a unique way to address the small business market delivering increased customer value, higher margins, operational cost savings, and new revenue opportunities.
Teleworker
The Teleworker feature extends the one-X Quick Edition network to any location that has high-speed access to the Internet. Quick Edition allows workers at remote offices to have access to features and services that are available to everyone who uses the one-X Quick Edition system. When the user installs the Telephone remotely, the Telephone must be connected to a computer, network, or high-speed modem that has high-speed access to the Internet.
After Teleworker mode is enabled, the Quick Edition telephone becomes a Teleworker client and can be given to a user who works in a remote office, from home, or anywhere else that has a connection to the Internet. Provides enterprise quality experience for remote workers - at home or in remote branches.
Note: To use the Teleworker feature an external VPN appliance is required.
Enhanced Voicemail
This new voice mail enhancement feature provides one-X quick Edition users with the ability to attach a voice mail message to the email-notification feature providing users with a single inbox for both Voice mail and email. The email message will contain notification information including CLID, date and time, and duration of the message. The voice mail messages will exist on the phone and a copy will also be delivered in .wav format to the user specified address so users can listen to voicemail from email when away from their desk.
The information associated with the call is sent to a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) recipient. Specifically, SMTP is used to send email messages from the Voicemail Application on a Quick Edition IP Telephone to an SMTP server, which in turn forwards the email messages to the specified user’s email address.
Priority VLAN Tagging for Quality of Service (QOS)
Avaya one-X Quick Edition devices support IEEE 802.1p (priority value tagging), within the framework of the IEEE 802.1Q Virtual Bridged Local Area Networks standard. The feature allows the assignment of priority levels to one-X Quick Edition voice and data traffic in order to ensure QoS at OSI Layer 2. Specifying a priority such as 5 for voice traffic and 3 for data ensures that one-X Quick Edition voice traffic has priority over data.
Mulitsite Provisioning Tool
The Multisite Provisioning Tool is a Java-based software application that communicates with one-X Quick Edition networks over an HTTPS link. The application provides you with tools for configuring one or more than one one-X Quick Edition network simultaneously from a single central location. Any individual one-X Quick Edition network, a subset of selected networks, or all networks added to the Multisite Provisioning Tool can be configured at once. You can also use the Multisite Provisioning Tool to push software upgrades to the devices making up one or more one-X Quick Edition networks.
Voicemail
Each Quick Edition IP Telephone has 20 minutes of voicemail storage, and an additional 10 minutes of back up storage. If a phone is unavailable, two other phones in the network provide back-up service and one of them will answer any incoming call. Voicemail features include:
