IPEVO SOLO Skype Desktop Phone
IPEVO SOLO is a Skype-embedded Internet phone that enables Internet calls without using a computer. PC’s make VoIP cumbersome, so most users still prefer the always on, dedicated-device mode of telephones.
SOLO bridges traditional telephone and VoIP by making Skype universally accessible to users that are less familiar with VoIP or PC, e.g. elderly or children. SOLO makes Skype calls as easy as using the telephone, thereby overcoming the fundamental PC-bound behavioral and technological hurdle of VoIP.
The handset has a large void that is a unique anti-echo design for eliminating common VoIP cross talks. The telephone like interface supports Skype, SkypeOut, SkypeIn and Skype Voicemail, and features a built-in speakerphone, 2.4” color screen, 4way menu navigation and speed dial keys.
